Treasurer: The son of a Jamaican immigrant, Joshua Albert Clennon was born and raised in New York City. After attending Frederick Douglass Academy in Harlem, Joshua went on to graduate from Penn State University with a B.S. in Health Policy and Administration. The Republican backlash against President Obama’s historic Affordable Care Act sparked Joshua’s interest in politics. Upon graduation Joshua returned to Harlem where he served his community for six months in the office of fellow FDA alum, Congressman Charles Rangel. Joshua is the General Manager of Urban Management & Development Inc. (UMDI) where he helps the Housing Development Fund Corporation maintain affordability in Harlem. In addition, Joshua serves as a New York County Democratic Committee Member representing the 71st Assembly District and Treasurer of the Black Caucus of the Young Democrats of America.
